The end of the year is approaching and the music industry made sure to end it in a high note, these are the most exciting events happening in December:

1. December 4th new music release: Mariah Carey - Oh Santa! ft. Ariana Grande, Jennifer Hudson

They have finally done it: these 3 power-vocal house QUEENS have finally collaborated and made our 2020 a tiny bit better. Long gone the days where Mariah would shade Ariana Grande... she put the childishry aside and gave us what we needed: VOCALS, CHEMISTRY, WHISTLE NOTES, HARMONIZING AND A CHRISTMAS SONG! (I probably watched this specific 15 seconds a hundred times)

2. December 7th Miley Cyrus debut performance for her newly released album Plastic Hearts. 

This Monday, Jimmy Kimmel will be airing an online performance for Plastic Hearts. Miley Cyrus has a history of delivering awesome vocals and a show and I am hoping to see her go all in for her album debut performance!

3. BlackPink "THE SHOW": December 27th, 2020

BlackPink is undeniably the biggest girl group right now, they are the Korean nations pride and just experienced their biggest year as idols. They have released their debut album, collaborated with A-level singers like Lady Gaga, Selena Gomez and Cardi B, released a documentary on Netflix titled “Light up the sky” and really expanded their fame and fandom.  With all of this planned, you would think that these 4 young girls would finally catch a break... but NOPE. Their label entertainment YG announced 3 days ago: Black Pink THE SHOW. 

Get ready, get your tickets, learn your songs, learn your fan chants and you will be set for one of the BEST LIVE CONCERTS AN ARTIST COULD EVER DELIVER. 

4. December 12th: The fact music awards 3rd Edition

This is not your typical AMA or BBMA show... no... this, ladies and gents, is a Korean award show that features all your favorite K-pop artists... and K-pop artists do not give C+ effort when they perform, they are aware of the competition and they want to keep up their reputations, so they can’t mess up and so they will give on a well full rounded show for you to love them more and praise them the way they deserve to.  

BTS will also be part of this amazing night, they have recently released their new album and song and of course their talent, the power of the army and the genuine interest from the GP landed them a second 1 hit, making History again.. A couple of days after that, the Grammys announced their nominees and BTS became the first Korean boyband to ever receive a Grammy nomination. These 7 boys have started from a small label and made it so far thanks to their talent and commitment: I am so proud to have seen them get where they are and I hope to keep seeing them receive what they deserve.
